Describing Stone Circle

It is not always easy to describe to someone what Stone Circle is all about. Stone Circle is a wonderful group of women who come together several times throughout the year for various reasons, assembling in various locations. It is not limited to age, religion, ethnic background, height or weight. There are no dues or mandatory charges (although donations are always welcome).

In this edition of the Newsletter some members of the Vision Committee and others are going to write about those different individual gatherings, describing what they are and what impact those times have had on them. A Quest for Balance

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things Icannot change. I’ve been repeat ing this mantra off and on for about twenty years now. Circumstances in 1991 led me to learn about this prayer and how effective it can be for so many people. These w ords have the pow er to be life changing. I have found that living by the meaning of these words can relieve me of the burden of taking on too much that is not in my pow er of changing. This prayer, repeating it over and over as many times as I need to, helps to put certain issues and situations in perspective for me  ... (more)

The words depth and length imply proportions and  dimensions. The words friendship and acquaintance imply relationships and bonds. Is there a tie-in? Stone Circle operates as a nonprofit entity. Stone Circle's presence in Florida is
a faith filled undertaking inspired by the desire to enhance the feminine milieu;
for women of the 21st century. We rely on the generosity of
friends and those who participate in programs. At the same time, women who
cannot give an offering are always welcome and even encouraged to participate.
